Every title is stocked by the usual online retailers, and the buy link on each book's page goes straight to the edition I would pick myself. If you would rather buy from a bookshop, any of them can order a copy in within a few days — and that helps the shop far more than it costs you.

Yes, and gladly. Send the details through the contact form — the shop or library, the rough date, and how many people you expect — and my team will come back to you within a week. I try to say yes to independent bookshops first.

The review roundup for each title sits on its own page, under the reader testimonials. For longer pieces, the Reviews category on the blog collects what critics have written, including the ones that disagreed with me.

There is always one in the drawer. The next novel is with my editor and should be announced in the spring; the newsletter gets the date a week before anywhere else does.

For festivals, schools and podcasts, usually yes. I keep two days a month for it, so the calendar fills a season ahead. Write with the format and the audience and I will tell you honestly whether I am the right guest.

For copies bought through the shop at Coldharbour, yes — leave the inscription in the order notes. For anything else, send me a bookplate and a stamped envelope and I will sign it and send it back.
